Hi! I’m Cath Wang (王佳馨/왕가현/كاث), a mathematics undergraduate at Christ Church, University of Oxford. You can reach out by email.

- Trying to manage my disability and well-being
- Trying to be vegan!
Previously in Cath’s Life…
- I studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at Oxford before switching to maths.
- I interned in investment banking, Big 4 audit, and consulting
- I organised the first MUN committee on AGI and AI x-risk
- I became vegetarian!
- Doing technical AI camps (ARBOx, PAIR, etc)
- Studying Arabic, Korean, American Sign Language, and French
- Running a local animal rescue charity which received government funding
I’m usually based in Oxford, Hong Kong, or Shanghai. I’ve signed the Giving What We Can 10% Pledge and my goal in life is to do the most good I can (within some boundaries). I consider effective altruism, the principle of equality, and empathy to be some of my core beliefs.
